The money will go to Kangan Batman TAFE to help small business through a tough year marked by the global economic downturn.

 “The funding program was announced by Prime Minister Kevin Rudd at a recent Small Business Summit,” Ms Vamvakinou explained.  “I am delighted that Kangan Batman TAFE is one of the successful applicants.”

 “Kangan Batman TAFE will use the grant to deliver a quality, low cost advisory service to small businesses on matters such as business planning, cash flow management and access to credit.” 

“We are all facing many challenges in the current economic climate, and small business is no exception,” Ms Vamvakinou said.

 “I am delighted that we are able to support a valuable local service such as this, to lend our small business a helping hand.
