The Address in Reply I gave in Federal Parliament was an opportunity for me to thank the voters in my electorate of Calwell for electing me once again as their Federal Member of Parliament. It was a chance to also thank the wonderful and vibrant communities I have in my electorate, and to thank those who have supported me throughout the election and beyond.
Not only do I feel incredibly fortunate to be your elected member, but I especially feel incredibly fortunate to be the Federal Member of Calwell - a culturally diverse electorate with many inspiring constituents and fantastic communities.
I am humbled by the confidence that they show in me and the Australian Labor Party - time and time again the voters of Calwell have returned a Labor Member of Parliament because they know that the Australian Labor Party is best placed and most trusted to respond to theirs and their families needs, concerns and anxieties.
