I was pleased to speak with my other Labor colleagues - Sharon Claydon MP, Matt Keogh MP and Joanne Ryan MP - on the Government's decision to give big business an $80 billion handout while cutting schools and hospitals.

 

 

Taking from the Australian public and giving to multinationals and big banks will do nothing to prepare Australians for the labour market of the future, and will do nothing to secure their access to timely and affordable healthcare.

Leading the Matter of Public Importance debate in Parliament the other day was the Leader of the Opposition, Bill Shorten MP, who delivered a great speech on what Australians really care about.
