Broadmeadows Central is holding an inaugural Jobs Fair to connect local jobs with the local community.

The shopping centre is encouraging members of the community to put their best foot forward and work where they love to shop as they come and explore the opportunity to meet with potential employers.

Centre Manager at Broadmeadows Central, Jeroam Whittington, said the Jobs Fair aims to give members of our local community the chance to explore employment opportunities within the local area and talk directly to our retail partners and potential employers.

“They can also access information on a range of local employment support services and training options to help them gain skills to increase their ability to find employment,” Mr Whittington said.

The event will be officially opened by local member for Broadmeadows, Frank McGuire MP.

Date: Thursday 26 October

Time: 4-7pm

Location: Kmart Foyer, Broadmeadows Central

There will be over 200 positions available including apprenticeship and trainee vacancies, positions with Victoria Police and Securecorp, and Broadmeadows Central retail partners such as Hoyts, Bevilles, Anytime Fitness, Best and Less and KFC. There will also be a range of support services available to improve education, training and employment outcomes.
