From next week, free financial information sessions are available for people in Tullamarine.
Minister for Human Services Senator Kim Carr encouraged people to take advantage of the assistance. “We are committed to helping people plan their future. That’s why we provide local, practical services – to help make informed choices,” Senator Carr said. “The trusted Financial Information Service (FIS) is a prime example. Since it began it has helped hundreds of thousands of people become more confident in managing their affairs.”
Member for Calwell Maria Vamvakinou said the seminars were for everyone. “FIS Officers are local people who can help you. They can help with information on investment options, and making the most of superannuation, annuities, and investments. I urge anyone interested to attend,” Ms Vamvakinou said.
