I was pleased to announce together with the Minister for innovation, Industry, Science and Research, Senator Kim Carr, that the Federal Government will invest $30 million to increase Australia’s research capacity through Broadmeadows company CSL. The company is a provider of vaccines, anti-venoms and blood products. The research will benefit the whole of Australia and possibly the world. The funding will result in 333 ongoing, highly skilled jobs and an average of 320 full-time jobs during construction.
